i'm going slightly mad.

i'm going to go ahead and tell you before you look at these that they are weird... yes, i know that. they're strange, not what i usually put out there, and something not everyone will like. i'm wanting to try new things with my photography and step outside of the box when it comes to artistic view points. because like i've mentioned to a lot of people, this is my art. this is what i love to do. and of course i love doing regular portraits and fun colorful artistic shots that are bright and happy. but then other times, i enjoy doing things that are strange and unusual. because like lydia from beetlejuice says, "i myself, am strange and unusual." 

this past weekend i painted harlequin diamonds on my bedroom wall, and abby and i both had the idea for her to wear her freddie jumpsuit, paint a diamond on her face and do a really cool shoot in front of the wall. 

these honestly turned out better than i could've imagined. we just went with it and this is what the outcome was. 

it's a bit of weird/strange/creepy/odd/and a sense of going slightly mad.
